The happiest years of Rader's life …
The happiest years of Rader's life were those he spent as a student at Montessori School of Mauldin, from age three through fifth grade. An exceptionally bright and creative child, Rader began to feel stifled and discouraged once he was enrolled in public middle school. We know there are other elementary- and middle-school-aged children whose needs are not well met by the traditional educational model. Our scholarships enable us to help some of those who aren't easily able to afford tuition to a school more appropriate to their learning styles.
We have three partner schools in Greenville County, S.C.: Montessori School of Mauldin, Faith Montessori Homeschool Co-op, and Five Oaks Academy.
The Rader Ward Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Another easy way to give
If you're a Publix grocery shopper in any location, you can easily support Montessori School of Mauldin through the Publix Partners program. Publix Partners formerly used plastic cards with barcodes to be scanned at checkout, but has moved to a digital platform. If you have a Publix account online for digital coupons and such, it's easy to affiliate yourself with the school so they receive a percentage of your purchase as a donation.
Go to publix.com and log in (top right) or create an account. Click Account (top right) and then scroll down to "My Publix Partner." In the search box, type in “Mauldin”. Montessori School of Mauldin is at the bottom of the drop-down list. Choose it, click Select, and you're all set! Then when you’re at the store, type your phone number in at checkout so the proceeds of your purchase will be directed to MSM.
